Artist statement

These prints grew out of a gnawing urge to experiment . I’ve lived in Dublin my whole life and these images are all from photos taken during times exploring lesser known corners of the city.

The Magazine Fort in the Phoenix park is a place I have spent hours exploring. It always involved a squeeze through a hole in the wall, a snag on some razor wire or a tentative balancing act on some spiked fence but was always well worth it to have a whole abandoned munitions dump to myself for a few hours.
