About the Print
Liam Gough pays tribute to Alfred Hitchcock’s uncanny masterpiece with this 3 colour screenprint.
With his intuitive hand drawn approach Gough explores the uniquely flat nature of screenprint.
The base layer was created by directly exposing a rectangular piece of paper to the screen. He then drew directly onto acetates with oil pastel and opaque markers for his following two colour layers.
About the artist
Liam is a Dublin based artist who specialises in drawing and printmaking. Liam holds a masters degree in printmaking from the NCAD. He is currently one of Damn Fine Print superstar tutor and print technician
