We are all on a journey somewhere. This piece celebrates both a creative and physical journey made by the artist towards establishing a creative voice, the desire to capture a mood, a time, a certain soft refraction of late evening light or place…the street corner by the studio-that same old scene.
About the Artist
Clare Blackwell is an artist and art educator, specialising in illustration and screen-printing. Clare creates unique and colourful screen-prints on paper and textiles inspired by themes including pop culture, vintage graphics and illustration. Drawing and colour theory influence Clare’s printmaking process.
