About the Project
Our group collection 'Dawn' was put together at during the latter stages of 2020, calling on our Damn Fine Print members, to each respond to the theme of "Dawn" through their respective approaches to printmaking.
'Pull.' A 7 layer screen print. A deeply textured piece that evokes a still, meditative state in the viewer. The pull of the sea the pull of a squeegee on the screen. The eye scans across the page, investigating the dithered forms which move and undulate, and ultimately rest in the quiet cold nothingness of the centre form. A piece of art that is intentionally made to spend time with.
