About the Piece The duality of human nature' theory is explored here - There is a balance between two linked forces in this print - much like yin and yang. All are connected and one can't exist without the other.
Through this exclusive collection, Robyn explores perception and interpretation of time, and the various emotions we attach to time passing. A variety of techniques are used by Robyn to create her prints, a mixture of mono-printing, painting, drawing and collage composed in an analogue fashion with cutting and taping. New layers are added in response to the previous layer, giving each an innate relationship.
About the Artist Robyn Care is a visual artist from Dublin. Her practice crosses between printmaking and painting, often bridging the gap between the two processes. Process-driven abstraction forms the basis of her work, with experimental mark making with ink and paint providing her distinct aesthetic.
