About Artist

Holly Pereira is an illustrator and animator based in Dublin.

Like a lot of people who grew up in the 80s, she can pretty much recite Dirty Dancing verbatim; repeat viewings on VHS will do that.

She chose the moment when Baby makes a total sap of herself in front of Johnny, mindlessly spouting "I carried a watermelon" - an example of her naive youthfulness, but pretty cool in a weird sort of way.  We've all been there, Baby.
