About the Piece
Sunday Palms is a three-colour screen-print produced in vibrant hues of blues, greens and a bold yellow afterglow. The artist aims to capture that feeling of the sun on your face, the warmth of sunlight amid geometric forms in light and shadow in warm and cool tones. This limited edition series of 20 prints was produced from Clare's original illustration and screen printed at DFP on Munken pure fine art paper in high-quality pigment inks.
About the Artist
Clare Blackwell is an artist and art educator, specialising in illustration and screen-printing. Clare creates unique and colourful screen-prints on paper and textiles inspired by themes including pop culture, vintage graphics and illustration. Drawing and colour theory influence Clare’s printmaking process.
