WHAT TO EXPECT
This four-week course teaches you everything you need to know about silkscreen printing. Beginners will learn the history of the art form and gain guided hands-on practice in the process of screenprinting their own work from start to finish.
You will practice the photo-stencilling technique and learn how to prep your own black and white artwork (a photograph, digital artwork or perhaps some hand drawn sketches) for the medium of screenprinting while also coating and exposing your own screen, handling screen printing equipment and tools, setting up your workspace, working with water based inks and producing your very own limited-edition print run.
You will learn to print, troubleshoot and experiment with colours, blending and over printing techniques - and come away inspired after creating your very own edition.
