My piece 'Olympus' is inspired by ancient Greek illustration - this piece, in particular, was inspired by illustration seen on an archaic Panathenaic amphora depicting men in a race which is now situated in Metropolitan Museum of Art. I wanted to capture the ancient Greek style but also express movement and playfulness with loose mark making, meshing together an ancient culture with a more modern one: Skateboarding.

Bronagh Lee is an artist and illustrator based in Dublin. Lee graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2016 and has since been creating work within a variety of disciplines.

The curb cannibal was inspired by my mate Raoul that I skate with. We play parking block skate a lot and he asked me if I could draw him up a parking block Curb skating another parking block Curb with the text “curb cannibal” I did a few sketches and came up with this guy.

This design pays homage to the beautiful abandoned factories in Glasgow I grew up painting in but are now slowly being demolished one after another.

The art I make is greatly influenced by urban cultures, this print is a throw back to my first blackbook where Gorillaz, Tony Hawks (Underground), and irish graff where huge influences on the what I was producing. I like to think all my characters sreak with a lisp so I took the spitfire face which I used to love copying and gave it a lisp boy twist.
