2023 T-Shirts and Totes Workshop

WHAT TO EXPECT
Participants will get the opportunity to print their own 1 colour designs on t-shirts and tote bags. You will get a basic introduction to silk screen printing, coating and exposing your own screens,  handling printing equipment and tools. 

YOUR IMAGES
You send us your design or image and we will get it ready for screen print, or you can play and experiment with our selection of designs and doodles. 

COURSE CONTENTS
This workshop is the perfect taster to becoming a Damn Fine Print studio member.You will learn to print, troubleshoot and experiment with colour, registration and printing techniques - as well as the ink curing process and leave with your very own bespoke T-shirts & Tote bags !

Additional totes and tee's can be purchased at the studio, or you can BYO - just be sure to bring light coloured cotton fabrics. (max 6 items per person)

WHAT TO WEAR
Dress up or dress down but we advise against wearing your Sunday best and something warm. Print studios are chilly in winter, inks splatter and fingers are clumsy – you get the picture!

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the limited numbers we can facilitate our courses are non-refundable. Please make sure you, or the person you are gifting the workshop to can attend the workshop dates.

If you cannot attend and need to reschedule we operate a strict 3 week notice before the workshop's start date in order to reschedule your place to another course and fill your previous booked spot.

If you need to cancel less than 20 days before the workshop starting date we will not be in a position to reschedule it. You can still give the workshop to someone else if you cannot attend yourself. Please email us as soon as you can before the course with the name and contact details of the person attending in your place.

If we are obliged to postpone our workshops due to Covid Government restrictions / advice we will resume them as soon as it is safely possible. We will contact all participants as soon as we can with information on options for rescheduled dates.

Please note that Participants must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the courses.

HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES
We have the following measures in place to make sure our studio is a safe working and learning environment:

Mask wearing is no longer mandatory as of Feb 28th in line with updated Government advice. However as we ease into this we suggest you wear masks to our studio.

On arrival you will be asked to sign our standard health and safety forms so that in case of emergency we have a point of contact for you.

Hand sanitisers are located throughout the studio - please wash your hands and sanitise regularly. It's important that you feel safe and those around you do too.

If you need to cough, sneeze or adjust your mask, use a tissue and dispose of it properly.

If you are feeling symptomatic or suspect you might have Covid then please do not attend the studio and notify us by email. Our normal cancellation policy applies.

If there is another lockdown, all courses will be rescheduled to another date and you will be notified. We work hard to make this a fun and safe environment for people to print in, please respect it and maintain good hygiene when you are here.
