For those who have completed our intro course or are experienced in risograph printing, we are happy to offer assisted access to the Riso, where a technician will be present while you print your own work. For €50 plus the cost of materials, you can use the risograph yourself for one hour, with an additional €30 for each additional hour. Prices for print materials (inks, masters, paper) are as follows:
Please note: Assisted risograph sessions must be booked in advance. As we are a working print studio, dates and times of your session are subject to availability.
The risograph can be used during these sessions to print digital files from our attached laptop (Windows) or straight from the machine’s scanner. Prices for printing are listed below. Your technician will be available to offer advice on any print settings in the risograph’s print software, or settings on the machine itself.
We can print up to approximately 8 masters per one hour session, so please keep this in mind when booking. If you think you need more than this, please book for a longer session.

Paper prices vary depending on paper chosen.
Bringing your own paper is allowed but paper showing any signs of damage should not be put through the Riso. We recommend buying new paper prior to your session, uncoated and under 300gsm in weight.
USE OF YOUR ACCESS TIME:
Your time can be used on the risograph itself, printing from the scanner bed, or from our attached laptop (Windows). We have colour samples and a large catalogue of our previous projects available for use as reference material for your prints. We suggest that any digital files be prepared in advance. Bringing your own computer is advisable in the event that your artwork should require slight tweaks, and we ask that you bring your own USB key for your files.
We recommend that you familiarise yourself with our guidelines here before your session in order to prepare your files correctly and minimise complications during your session.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION
Cancellations:
If Damn Fine Print is obliged to cancel the course, we will issue a full refund.
Refunds:
If you have booked but cannot attend and need to cancel, due to the limited number on sessions we are able to provide, we operate a strict 7 working day notice in order to issue a refund.
If a last minute cancellation occurs we will try our best to fill your space however please understand we can only refund you if another booking is made.
Please note that participants must be at least 18 years old to participate.
