Our exclusive 2021 calendar was produced and printed in-house on our Risograph ME9350E printer.
A celebration of colour and design language, our new 2021 risograph calendar is a perfect studio companion for graphic designers, artists and illustrators.
The calendar is composed of 14 prints, 12 calendar pages and two full-page prints, each ranging from 1-4 colours. Each print was designed to showcase a different risograph colour combination, showing tonal combinations in increments of 20% of each colour, and complete with a piece of printing knowledge such as CMYK rules, line weights, point sizes, halftones and other essential print metrics.

For this release we’ve teamed up with illustrator Fatti Burke to produce ‘Toothache’, a zine inspired by the childhood sweets we all remember so dearly. This slice of nostalgia transports you back to your childhood sweet shop to reminisce about the tastes and smells that live in our collective memories as an indelible sugar rush. This is a fun-filled read complete with haikus that pair brilliantly with Kathi’s bold and distinctive style, and one we’re super excited to release.

Belfast-based photographer Billy Woods caught our eye through his self-published zines capturing the faces of Belfast DIY music venues. With the same energy behind the camera, Billy found himself in Reykjavik, Iceland, where he came to learn through conversations with locals, of genetic ties between Irish and Icelandic people. From behind the camera, this trip saw Billy documenting the architecture, landscapes, and people of Reykjavik, delving in to their city and gaining an understanding of the ways that these two cultures have been interwoven, be it through shared DNA or shared experiences of the harsh economic struggles. The resulting zine, ‘Papar’ is a beautifully crafted and considered photo book that we were delighted to have produced.
Risograph printed on Fedrigoni Freelife White, Sirio Colour Celeste, and Woodstock Nero recycled papers. Printed using Blackand Aqua inks. 195 x 243mm. 40 pages.

Ross Carvill’s illustrations possess an energy and personality that stands out amongst the best of them. In April of 2020, we invited Ross to do some live drawing on our instagram, where Ross drew creations that merged animals and objects based on viewers’ suggestions, and we loved them so much that we thought they needed to be printed! “Mystical Magical Maths” collects some of our favourites, in this zine that’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
